The media holding, Media-Tula, organiser of the award, held it for the fifth time.
Throughout the year, reporters from Komsomolskaya Pravda v Tule and the weekly periodical, Tsentr71, surveyed people in the city streets asking citizens and guests of Tula what they consider the brand of the Tula Region, what is its hallmark company, their favourite holiday spots in the Region, their preferred companies, etc
The Russian Sports Acrobatics Championship was held in Pervomaysky in the Yubileyny Sports Centre on November 16–18. Shchekinoazot was the sponsor of the event.
150 athletes from 17 regions participated in the tournament

On October 29, at the Moscow International Chemistry Forum at the ExpoCentre, the Russian Chemists Union summed up the results of the annual Russian industry contest, 5 Stars
New nitric acid and ammonium nitrate plants are being prepared for construction at the Shchekinoazot production site. Their annual capacities will be 270,000 and 340,000 tons per year, respectively.
Since the plants have interconnected processes, they will be situated next to each other
Shchekinoazot began construction on several new plants. One of our projects is a third methanol plant with an annual capacity of 500K tons.
The Voronezh company Tekhnologiya Retsiklinga LLC is currently dismantling buildings and facilities within the future site for the M-500 methanol plant
