SUMMER IN SHAKHTER [09.06.2017]
Trainees from the Jubilee House of Sports Vityaz boxing club will spend their summer holidays in Shakhter holiday centre in Bunyrevo using travel vouchers from Shchekinoazot. This is the first time children's summer trips have been organised here.
Every year, Shchekinoazot sends its employees' children to health camps. All possible options are studied and travel vouchers are purchased. This year it was decided to organise a children's holiday at the Shakhter holiday centre, which has excellent conditions children's leisure activities. And it turned out that there were even more places available than usual...
This meant that children from Vityaz club in Pervomaisky workers settlement were able join the children of chemists on their holiday.
The company pays for their holiday and allocated about 2.5 million roubles for this purpose.
Young boxers were the first to arrive at the camp, followed in July by children from families of Azot chemists, who will enjoy new experiences and make new friends.
120 young people from Shchekino and Tula will visit here for the summer health campaign using Azot travel vouchers. The holiday is arranged as part of Shchekinoazot's large-scale social program aimed at supporting our region's residents.
Children from other parts of Tula region also holiday here.
As for the Vityaz children, their mentors are very pleased with their achievements. For example, fourteen-year-old Yegor Maksimov is regional champion in his category. Alexander Fomichev won a bronze medal in the Russian championship and went with senior coach Vasily Stebletsov to Kislovodsk – the national boxing team base. Silver at the Russian championships in Saransk was won by Ivan Onischenko.
In total, according to the coaches, the children took part in twenty competitions of different levels. They had 60 wins in different weight and age categories, 25 second and 40 third places. This is an excellent result for an incomplete year.
However, the athletes do not just rest in Shakhter, they also train. Cross - country in the morning, training after breakfast and another session in the evening. What do the children think of this? Yegor Maksimov and his younger comrades Sergey Bechvaya and Ilya Pechikin happily reply: "Good!"
The conditions in the camp are really wonderful.
Cottages heated in cold weather, cosy rooms, five nutritious meals, training, developing and entertaining classes... And in addition – the beautiful the local nature, the picturesque Oka River, the purest air... The trip organisers and the camp leaders are convinced that all this promotes complete health improvement, children's development and creates a positive emotional background.
Until the last day of August, children's voices will sound above the Oka among the pine trees. And the weather will soon finally get better. Does it have any choice when there will be such a wonderful, happy summer in Shakhter!
