SHCHEKINOAZOT CONTINUES IMPLEMENTING SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IN SHCHEKINSKY DISTRICT [12.03.2021]
The enterprise helps overhaul police station in Pervomayskiy settlement (3 Shkolnaya St.).
Along with the implementation of investment projects at its industrial site as part of its strategic development programme, the city-forming company Shchekinoazot continues to remain a socially responsible business. It invests in the renovation and repair of social infrastructure facilities that make life in the Shchekino District comfortable and safe.
This corresponds to the social development concept devised and approved by the company.
Works at the facility on 3 Shkolnaya St. began at the end of 2019.
Contractors for the construction and interior finishing works included VSK LLC, Fregat LLC and Profstroy LLC. SOM LLC laid the communication networks (Internet).
The contractors completely overhauled the building and replaced its external and internal decor, engineering networks and communication lines. They renewed the roof, fixed the outside walls, replaced the floor covering inside the premises and repaired the ceilings and walls. Offices, corridors and bathroom have been completely renovated.
The scope of works was expanded in the process due to the significant dilapidation of the building. The premises currently meet the modern requirements for such facilities. The police station is ready for work, and the police are already carrying out their duties.
The head of the Tula Region Office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs S.A. Galkin inspected the facility and checked its readiness on 12th March. The inspection was attended by the president of Shchekinoazot B.A. Sokol.
S.A. Galkin noted the high quality of the repair works and emphasised that comfortable conditions will have a positive effect on the work of the police station employees.
The head of the Shchekino District Administration A.S. Gamburg thanked Shchekinoazot for its social development programme and an integrated, systemic and thoughtful approach to this topic.
Shchekinoazot has also recently overhauled a number of the region's social facilities.
It repaired a dormitory for students — future and current employees of Shchekinoazot — at the Shchekinsky Polytechnic College, purchased furniture and household items.
It reconstructed the Grieving Soldier memorial featuring the USSR's first eternal flame for the 75th WWII victory anniversary.
It repaired the music school in the Pervomayskiy settlement and the Mayak (lit.: Beacon) room for schoolchildren.
It renovated the Khimik (Chemist) Palace of Culture (premises, lobbies, common areas and many rooms for children's studies). Small repair works are underway at the Yubileyniy Sports Centre.
The bathhouse in Pervomayskiy has also been reconstructed.
Shchekinoazot is repairing building facades as a gift to the chemist settlement. In total, it has renovated the facades of 34 residential buildings over the past few years.
It is currently building an Ice Palace in Shchekino.
Shchekinoazot has landscaped Platonovsky Park in Tula in several stages.
It will also help solve the problem of traffic jams at the intersection of Boldina and Lukashina streets in Shchekino by expanding the road and installing a traffic light.
In addition, the company will support the improvement and development of two Shchekino parks.
