CHOOSING THE RIGHT PROFESSION IS IMPORTANT[17.03.2021]
Excursions to Shchekinoazot's Hall of Labour Glory continue.
The city-forming enterprise Shchekinoazot is growing and developing. New production facilities under construction. There is a need for competent specialists. So, career guidance is an important part of Shchekinoazot HR office's work, which is carried out in close cooperation with the regional employment centre, the Education Committee of the Shchekino District Administration, schools, colleges and higher education institutions.
A visit to the enterprise always begins with Shchekinoazot OJSC's Hall of Labour Glory, where documents telling about the history and the present day of the plant are carefully stored and whose rich archives continue to grow.
During the tour, guests will learn a lot about the chemical enterprise: the stages of its development, from the moment of its creation to the present time, its achievements and awards, the people who helped build the plant, and its current glory.
The tours end in the stylised Yasnaya Polyana Corner, where visitors learn about the company's social policy, share their vivid impressions and leave feedback in the Book of Honoured Guests.
Several tours have been held recently: for senior pupils of Shchekino Secondary School No. 1 named after Hero of the Soviet Union B.N. Emelyanov, Sovetskaya Secondary School No. 10, Shchekino Secondary School No. 12, the chemistry and technological class of the Lyceum and parents and graduates of the district centre's Secondary School No. 11.
After seeing the enterprise's training programme and the preferences that contract students and young chemists have, many of the future school graduates from the Shchekino District expressed a desire to enter the Novomoskovsk Institute and to use the spots reserved for Shchekinoazot. These children have already chosen their future. It guarantees them a stable tomorrow, a job with good prospects and a successful career. And this is not surprising, given that chemistry drives the country's economic development.
Educational tours to Shchekinoazot's Hall of Labour Glory are held not only for children. The hall is also open to adults: Tula residents and people from the other regions of our country, as well as foreign partners. Everyone finds something for themselves here. The museum's exhibits are interesting and popular among visitors.
The other day, the parental community and school students of the Shchekino District were welcomed by Irina Podchufarova, Director for HR Management and Social Development at Shchekinoazot, who spoke about all the advantages of working in a chemical company, the enterprise's growth prospects and professions in demand in the production sector. A thorough conversation is a good reason to reflect on one's future. Today, it is normal to start thinking about one's future profession at school, long before graduation.
