COVID control and prevention measures
During the Covid-19 pandemic, social health programmes have gained considerable momentum.
With the financial support of Shchekinoazot JSC, modular medical/obstetrical stations were installed in the villages of Greater Trosna and Myasoyedovo of the Shchekino district, costing 2.3 million roubles each.
The sites for the installation of stations in these settlements had been improved.
The company's management supported the initiative of Alexei Dyumin, Governor of the Tula Region, to repurpose the infectious disease department of the Shchekino district Hospital (Branch 3) in Pervomayskiy into a Pneumonia Differential Diagnoses department. It donated 1 million roubles to fund the repair works.
Financial support was provided to purchase air disinfection recirculators for the Children's Art Studio at the Yasnaya Polyana House of Culture and for the Suvorov School. Face coverings and antiseptics were purchased following requests for charitable assistance from organisations and institutions.
The company puts great emphasis on the preservation of its employees' health. Its medical and sanitary unit is constantly being modernised. In 2020 alone, 5 million roubles had been allocated to renovate the outpatient clinic at Shchekinoazot, and a further 20 million is spent annually on its maintenance.
The company's personnel are provided with face coverings, antiseptics, gloves, recirculators and infrared thermometers. In 2020, 13.4 million roubles were allocated for this purpose.
All prescriptions of Rospotrebnadzor for the prevention of Covid-19 are strictly adhered to.
In 2020, the company held a 'Thank the Doctors' charity event, delivering sweets, tea, coffee and basic necessities to employees of the Shchekino Emergency Medical Care Station.
We all know what doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers have done for us in these months as the world confronts the Covid-19 pandemic, and we deeply appreciate it.
